First three steps of working on a Panoramic Skybox of Mordor.

The secret of the in-between steps is a dose of Bacon magic.

 In less vague terms, I’m playing with doing most of the painting on a grey-scale layer while coloring on a series of overlay layers. I’ve used this technique once before, safety not guaranteed.
